Inger Rydin new Managing Director at Comfort Audio

Monday, 2nd March, Inger Rydin will take office as new Managing Director at Comfort Audio. The Halmstad based company with 43 employees which develops, produces and sells assistive listening devices thus strengthens its position.

“Comfort Audio is an exciting company with excellent opportunities to grow. Technologically, it is far ahead, only recently the world’s first hearing products with both digital sound transmission and digital sound treatment were released. To launch these products and thus offer people in need of better hearing a more active and easier life as well as strengthening Comfort Audio’s position internationally will be our focus”, says Inger Rydin, new MD.

Inger Rydin, 52, MSc of Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, has gained her professional expertise mainly within the medical technological industry. Inger has comprehensive experience in different leading positions, her latest post being VP Marketing Wound & Skin Care at Coloplast; just before, she worked at Mölnlycke Health Care as, among other things, MD of a subsidiary, and SCA Hygiene.

With this appointment Comfort Audio gained distinguished competence and experience from bigger international companies within the medical technological sector.

Inger replaces Ragnar Åhgren who had been MD at Comfort Audio since 2002. Ragnar will become Chairman of the Board and continue working actively within the Comfort Audio Group.
